Burlington Code Academy is hosting an Announcement Party to showcase Vermont’s first on-site code school. The Academy provides accelerated, bootcamp-style education programs that teach students the digital skills necessary to enter a career in tech and help Vermont companies find the talent they need to grow.

Wearable and mobile technologies are poised to revolutionize the way we address problems related to human health and performance across a wide spectrum of applications ranging from assessing the biomechanics of our warfighters and athletes to improving clinical care for those with neurological, musculoskeletal, and mental health disorders. We're very excited to host UVM professor Ryan McGinnis who will talk about his extensive work on using wearable sensors to improve equipment design for athletes and soldiers and improve our understanding of the impacts of neurological disease on the body. Ryan will focus on his data management pipeline as well as the approaches used to derive actionable insights from the extremely large amounts of data collected by these systems.
